Transportation Lieutenant

Fannin County Detention Center— Bonham, TX under the management of LaSalle Corrections is seeking to hire a Transportation Lieutenant.

Person hired will be Responsible for the supervision, custody, care, safety, control, and physical restraint (when necessary) of inmates and detainees during transportation. Monitors detainee and inmate activities and enforces security department’s policies and procedures. Work involves assisting in the development of safety policies and procedures; participating in the safety training and education of staff and inmates; inspecting work areas and activities for hazards, and assisting in investigating accidents. Works under moderate supervision with a limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
